my stock clutch is gone....it was replaced 2 yrs ago

must have more torque than i thought. now i need to get a new clutch and am really lost as to what i should do. money is a problem right now, but i also dont want to get a cheap/shitty clutch or a used one only to go out again in a year or 2. im thinking about getting a new lt4 clutch setup but i dont think the clutch would work on an lt1, just the pressure plate will. or i have also seen some used clutch sets on camaroz28.com. some Spec III sets, centerforce, mccleods and some stock clutches with upgraded pressure plates. i remember hearing that most clutches for lt1's are no good... also, my stock flywheel has already been resurfaced once. i have heard it would be just fine if i resurface it again and also heard that i should get a new flywheel everytime i get a new clutch....
this is for a '96 Z28. Any help would be great. and if anyone does this kind of work, please post what u charge...keeping in mind that i would help if needed.
