Do you have any details on the block? Flat tops, dished? Gt's came with a few differences. This maybe a great swap for my fox.
The other option would have been Mark 8 heads and cams. But the valve cover has the SVT plaque,.. so at least the valve cover did come from an original Cobra. Cobra intake doesnt always mean Cobra heads and Cobra cams. Usually the Intech cover is a dead give away. I also learned something new recently that early 93 - 95 Mark 8 B heads are indeed different then 96 - 98 B heads. In the combustion chamber the 93 - 95 B heads have a larger swirl fin that restricts the intake valves. 96 - 98 B heads dont have it. But from the looks of this,.. I would say its a complete Cobra top end. 96 - 98 Cobra short block is no stronger then a GT short block. They will both cap out at 425 - 450 hp as the most they will safely hold.

Depending on what year the block is from,.. 96 - 98 -11 CC pistons the CR should be pretty close to normal. If from 99 - 04 with -17 CC pistons the CR will be a very boost friendly 8.5:1 cr.

Either way for under $1000 for a running 4v engine, all the electronics and T45 tranny is a screamin deal. I cant believe no one is jumping on this. I'm tempted to borrow the money from my father inlaw and buy this for a future project.

I had the drive train out of my wife's 96 Cobra up for sale,.. pretty much the same things here, Engine, ECM, all the wiring harnesses and transmission,. everything needed to swap it into anything,.. except I had the aluminum block,.. and my motor had 125k on it at the time and I listed it for $3500 here on TR, Craigslist and a couple other boards,.. and I had 2 serious cash offers for $3000. They kept calling me asking when I was ready to sell. I backed out of the deal and decided to keep it and put it in my 96 GT. So for $1000 for everything here is a damn good bargain.
