lol cleveland u already know im a honda/engine encyclopeida.unless the engine in still in the car and fully assembled you cant do a compression test. car has to be warmed up to get accurate results . but oil will always pass by rings if you simply pour it into the cylinder. think about when you do a "wet" compression test and the number shoot up. thats because oil is passing by the rings and providing a better seal. so thats not a way to indicate if rings are good or bad.
