So, can't move the shifter to the left, can't select 3-4 because the tranny is locked out of sync with the dogs, and I can only get 5-R which doesn't help. Have to drop tranny and remove front cover. Getting the shift rod in to place (it's 'in' and can't be pulled out by hand) is as simple as banging it on the ground a few times. Let this be a lesson to everyone: Everytime you've had a tranny up on end or have done a bellhousing swap, put a shifter on it and row through the gears before installing it. You'll potentially save yourself 3 hours of tranny R&R.

Dan's sister is definitely not a storm trooper!
exact same thing happened to me when i did that bellhousing swap a couple months ago... omg i wanted to burn the car down haha.

fresh alignment this morning, 3 hours and we got it for the most part done, started off with 3.9* of camber in the back, and 4.7* up front...

ended up at 1.8* in the back, and 2.6* in the front, really gotta work on my fenders when it stops raining, car was smoking the tires soo bad on the 2 mile trip home i was getting waved down by people on the street and it took me 20 minutes to get home. ugh
