so as if it had a misfire, right?

go through the process and figure out what cylinder it is. unplug each injector individually and see which one doesn't make much, if any, difference when it is unplugged. from there, test for spark. if you have spark, then test for fuel, pull the injector and see if it sprays fuel. then go for compression...

with that said, if the miss doesn't seem to be just one cylinder then it is more than likely a vacuum leak... casually spraying starter/carbcleaner/etc fluid around will help locate the leak.
if you've done all of that, and still can't narrow it down, then check fuel pressure, then start at one end and work your way to another, checking all of the sensors...
