Do the Duratech and Zetec motors share a bellhousing pattern?
Yeah that would be fun. The V6 Duratec in the Contiques/Cougars share the same exact transmission (minus a slight change in gearing) with the Zetec Focus. Plus the newer, more powerful 2.3l Duratec/PZEV shares the same transmission. Both would make for excellent RWD transplants, but the Zetec motor would by far be the easiest. The RWD motor mounts are readily available in Europe. Tons of people do the RWD 2.0l Zetec swap in the Mk 1 & 2 Escorts. It would be a relatively "easy" job...maybe.
