Vtech is a company that produces electronics such as cordless phones etc. Vtec which is what i'm sure you are reffering to is a system and here is how it works since you seem misinformed.

So watching that video you will notice that your "vtech" is a system therefore it cannot be either slow or fast. Your swap may be slow because either you did something wrong by taking the easy way out it's just a stock sohc. Whatever the case may be this thread does not make sense to me as in you did not explain in full what it is that you are asking for or anything.
