Yep it was a lesson learned. I hope there wont be a next time I get back flagged, but if so i know to keep the car in 1st gear in the pits.

>> I also had mixed feelings about the people that were there. We were in the pit area next to a team that had the Canadain logos. They helped themselves to our chars and didnt put them back. They had guest come in and park a car blocking our trailer back gate so we couldnt open it. Then acted like we were being a pricks when we asked them to move the car. Last of all the took the carboard we were using to keep the oil and gas off the road surface. We were using it when we were refueling to catch spills. When we were not there they took the carboard and used it. Got it soaked in fuel and threw it away.
They last straw was when I was hit. The team didnt go to the Judge area. They didnt come over and apologise or provide an excuse on what happened. I was not impressed with this team.

On the other side. The other BMW teams were great. We had a couple cars that our team member mixed up with out on the track that came over and said.. We had a blast out there with you passing each other. The Batmobile and the Red ferrari hoda come to mind. To bad a few teams can ruin an event.

Now I need to find some place that has a frame machine to pull out the rocker so I can get the door opend and off. It will need a new door and fender.
Also the car was running hot the last 3 hours. So we need to figure out what broke in the cooling system. We have untill Feb to get the car fixed. It needs a new theme any way .
