a sts universal kit would be a good starting point if remote mount turbo is what your thinking, i prefer top mount something sexy about it lol

tuning is going to be the fun part, before you figure out you can afford all the parts and install it yourself give a bmw tuner (such as nick g/active/hpf) a call and ask how much for a tune for the kit and make sure you have that figured in your costs. also add about 5k in random shit and broken parts.
