100% positive they are running a built Ford AOD Trans or the 4R75W. Putting 1000 hp to a mighty max trans would be like putting 1000 hp to a ka trans. Good guess though. Although people have ran 4g63 motors in mighty max's, i doubt that would be the transmission of choice for a 8 second car.
