and you're already way over with that setup.

B18B1 - FREE (if he already has it) if not, ~1800
Turbo Kit - ~3.5k
Hondata - >500 with tuning and dyno time

done for under 8k, and he has money left over to drop a manual tranny in so he could eat R's for breakfast. so your answer for the 1,000,000th time is, Turbo the LS. As far as the B18C5 being a more reliable motor, i doubt that seriously, these two motors are made by honda, and are equally reliable. next.
Ok, you guys are not being smart about this. If you are going to build something to turbo you DO NOT start with an ITR, you start with a GSR (b18c1) for obvious reasons (PRICE). They are the same block. If you are going to build a block, and both blocks are the same then you go with the cheaper one. If you are worried about the ITR head flowing better and what not then you pick up a b16 head and either upgrade the valvetrain or throw the GSR shit back in it as they are good for turbo anyway.

If money is not option then buy the GSR longblock, harness and ecu, build the fuck out of it (9:1 CR Wisecos, Eagle Rods; Jun, Toda, Skunk2 Valvetrain, Aem Cam Gears, Apex'i Exhaust,JG Intake Manifold or whatever your heart desires, or wallet can swing) BREATH. . . Just my .02, hope it was helpful. JUST REMEMBER NO TURBOCHARGING AN ITR!!!!
