How much $$$$ are we going to have to spend vs. an LS? that i think, is the main argument here. you'd spend a good 4k on just the ITR motor. for add on's ie. lower comp pistons, rods, cams and the turbo alone are going to run you out the ass. so the answer is turbo the LS, and smoke the type R's all fucking day. i drove my friend's turbo LS, the gobs of tourque you get with f/i alone, is worth it. just do it right, and it will be about as reliable as it was before.
