Barneys is a joke, my buddy lost his key for his 06 cbr600rr and thats what barneys told him. they dont keeps the ignitions codes on file so they can cut a new key. go to action lock and key ( i think its off gun highway) i took my buddies ignition out and took it up there and they charged him i think only 15 bucks for 2 keys and they even had the correct key for his bike. did you lock your handlebars? if not you should be able to take ignition out or you might have to take hole bike up there. hope that helps.
