I pulled them apart because I wanted them to be perfectly polished for when they went on my old EM1, which I ended up trading in for an '09 EX. So I never get to put em on. Yes I sanded the inside up to 1500 grit, I planned on going up to 2000 grit and then polishing but never got around to it and lack time now.
