I think I'm gonna try wrapping the header tube up some more, looking for a shorter plug. I already have the Taylor Plug boot protectors.

I tried an accell 90* boot....Before I had the FRPP 45* boots. They burnt up worse than the Accells did.

I think the shorter plug may work....but I may also try fabricating up a heat shield of some sort. It might work if I do all of this together.
