well you also have to keep in mind that a 87 is a late model 22r, and alot of stuff isnt compatable with the earlier stuff. the 84+ motors got a taller deck and a shorter head. i'd never ever consider owning another NA 22r again. i probly had 7000+ in that motor. there very strong motors, and will make decent power just throwing some boost at it, but if you want big power, you'll be back to the whole, how do i get this head to flow, problem again.

oh yeah and that motor started with a brand new OEM 22rte block bought from deluca ...
