Oh, hell... the Spit hasn't had a working speedo/odo since I bought it! They's supposed to be good for over 40 mpg depending on running condition and how/where you drive them, but I'd expect more like 25-30 with the 1500.

The new 2.0 Duratec that's going in it is good for over 30 mpg in a Focus... with the gearing I have in the Spit, I expect I'll be able to get well over 40 with it on the highway. Who knows when it will be finished, though.
