Ptec is great. I shadowed the auto mechanics class there earlier this year when I planned on going there. The instructors are great and very knowledgeable. The class is mostly all hands on in the shop with a mix of the classroom environment. Tuition was around $4,500 for the course and books then you need tools on top of that. If you haven't all ready you should look into FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid for a pell grant. There are also plenty of other grants and scholarships out there to cut the cost down. The only reason I didn't follow through with Ptec was because I wanted to do something bigger then just work on cars. I'm just a few months away from my A&P now. I would highly recommend Ptec. hopefully this helps you out man
