Default gee, I wonder why chevy cant stay in business on there own

Moms truck - 04 chevy avalanche. Since roughly 20k miles the truck has made tons of clunking and popping sounds while turning. The car was in the dealership 15 times for this and was never resolved. Finally she just decided to live with it. Speedo at around 50k goes out. A/c constantly makes ticking noise while on.. Started after warrenty expired around 40k miles or so.

Dads van - 06 express diesel. Shortly after buying it, rear end makes loud clunking noise when getting put into gear, cruise control buttons stop working at about 15k. Oil pan is leaking arond the seal along with the power stearing and brake fluid resevours under the hood. Replaced under warrenty. Now, 42k miles and the ECU is fried and needs to be replaced

Keep in mind both vehicles are very well maintained. Both get full synthetic oil changes every 3k miles and are both completely un modified. Both were also bought brand new.
