maybe because he didn't have the know how/parts to do it himself... i've looked over the motor with Clawhammer, and it IS in fact a SR20DET, and not DE... maybe he got a new motor built for himself (the guy who rebuilt it is the Epstien equivilant on aother forum, so i trust it),and just used the DE parts from his previous set up on the DET thinking it would all be kosher...

guess he was wrong, abandoned the prject and sold it to me for dirt cheap... his loss, my gain... and i'm just trying to make it DET again, but am lacking a couple parts for it...
