I'm about to buy a bike but can't decide which one I like better.
'98 R1 10K miles $5000
'95 CBR 1000 27K miles $3300

Both bikes are in pretty good condition. I'm pretty sure that an R1 is stock and a CBR has pipes/new back tire/new chain.

I'll be using it as a daily driver for the next several months. I was also thinking about Kawasaki (7R or maybe 900), but they are so damn heavy. My boy has one and that thing weighs like 440 pounds..

Still trying to decide. It is going to be my second bike ( my first one was a 50cc dirt bike ), but I really don't want to have a headache in couple of months trying to sell that 250 or something like that. I looked at SV650s and they are just not my taste (the way they look). I'm not buying it to impress anyone-just got tired of cars and want to give it a shot. I'm pretty responsible so I don't think I'm going to have much problems with it.

Please post your opinion what kind of bike you would get under $6K. Thanks a lot.
