as for bolt ons, a bigger throttle body would help. if you are tuning with a vafc, the fpr is useless. anything you can do to make that motor breathe better will help. you could also use extra compression so a thinner head gasket could help too. the motor MUST be in ship shape before tuning. new plugs, wires, cap rotor, fluids, no CEL's, good compression and correct timing. then just take it to be dyno tuned. no sense in wasting time with a vafc on the street with those cams. at your displacement and compression, the gears need tuning to preserve some compression and boraden the power band as much as possible. youll also get the best vtec point on the dyno as well.
