Well I've had a standard since I was born (theoretically!)
Because nothing on my coupe now is stock except brakes and t5 (brakes will be changed before it ever gets finished) I've been thinking which direction to go.
I really don't want to pony up the money for a 6 speed.
A T5 won't do
I've had Tremecs, never an issue with me.
But people are trying to persuade me to go auto.
Car is a 90 coupe mexican 347 stroker vic jr's
twin turbo/megasquirt/comp xfi236 3.27 gears.

To get an aod I want will be quite expensive.
I used to be a Chevy guy and have mad respect for Chevy transmissions. Also people I know run glides and turbo 400's in their mustangs.
What do you guys think of a built turbo 350 (weight savings over 400).
This is a street/strip car, might even keep the air, leather , 17 inch cobras.
Kind of thinking of it as a KOTS type of ride.
And I must say I've never enjoyed any c4 I've owned, stock or built. I've had a lentech and an art carr aod and both were great but expensive.
Redneck performance sells built 350's for around 1,300 new with warranty.
