If you want a light weight engine making 400 to the rear wheels,.. ( I assume your another drifter?)(Or for Auto-X?) The easiest and most affordable approach would be with a stock 5.0 and blower or turbo. You can do the same,.. and with about 80lbs less weight with a 4.6 Teksid block and either B or C heads. But you will still need a blower or Turbo to achieve 400 at the rear wheels. And it will be a little more costly.

The only way to make that kind of power at the rear wheels NA will be with more cubes. A 351w stroked to 408 or 427 can make that kind of HP easily. Or with considerably more weight,.. a 460 can make that kind of power with 2 hands behind its back. It all depends on what your goals are and what your agenda and purpose is. Both of which you have failed to provide.
