Actually i was outflowing the cam most likely. at a given boost pressure, the turbo could only push a certain amount of air through the valve event. a bigger cam will yeild a longer valve event for a given RPM (duration) as well as a valve event of a greater magnitude (lift). thus alling the turbo to push more air into the motor. the head was probably not the restriction. we will find out soon enough.
