The stand in the mall embroiders hats, IDK if they do t-shirts. At least use some stencils to write it on there if you're going to use permanent markers.
Or you could use puff paint and make some really cute ones( don't leave off the rhinestones and glitter). They also make paper for your printer so you can print something out and iron it on ...
