the stock parts will hold up but no idea how long the PM rods
(powdered metal) are too brittle to withstand pressure in the cylinders, intercooled with good gas,larger injectors, and a thicker head gasket to lower the compression will work but no idea how long it will last, the bottom end are weak i got 3 motors 2.0 and 2.4's and they all sent the rod through the block, the SRT manifold will bolt up to 1st Gen, i believe there are 2 holes that would need to be drilled and tapped to secure it correctly, but will work without too, the heads are same casting on 2.0 and 2.4 so there are no gains the only difference is the cams the 2.4 cams have less lift and duration, the 2.4 motor is also a non-interference where 2.0 bends every valve in it when the timing belt breaks.
