there are a lot of little things that go into it that add up. I have never personally put a motor together so i did not do the work myself. If i were to do it myself, of course i could have done it cheaper and i would be selling it a lot cheaper. Not everyone is capable of building blocks themselves. Yes im sure you can do the hone yourself at home but i bet its not going to be as good as if it was done at a machine shop. I had this motor sent out to a really good machinist in the area who did the block work and everything and it was professionally assembled. I called shops around here how much they charge to assemble a motor and i got quoted all sorts of prices, from 300-600 and thats just assembling. Im willing to listen to offers but im not gonna sell this block for 250 like you think this block is worth because its clearly not.
