Unless you have advanced your timing or are using some power adder higher octane gas will typically make a stock motor lose power because it is harder to ignite. <The reason for using it in the first place so it doesn't detonate. Have fun ruining a good car burning up the valves wit dat 105 octane you really should try putting in some q16 and a quart of oil in your tank to see how fast you can get to Tampa so every one here can laugh at you in person.
