Regretfully, I need to take the cash hit and sell these without ever making use of them.
These are 2002 USDM WRX castings with a custom reworking by the loved and hated Dan Paramore who has been performing top-notch port work for over 30 years now. Drop in some cams and buckets and rev to the moon.
I have $2200 into this.
Price is $1100 LOCAL PICK UP, $1200 shipped, $1250 shipped to Alaska or Hawaii.
The package includes the following items, as seen in the pictures:
- Build book
- Custom ported head castings. Deshrouded combustion chambers, intake and exhaust porting, deburring, very mild chamfering of camshaft cap receiving bolt holes
- Installed OEM intake and exhaust valves, all of which have been examined and brought to better-than-new condition, as you can see by the pictures.
- DPR Racing bronze valve guides
- DPR Racing "beehive" valve springs (the only style of valve spring I'd ever run)
- DPR Racing lightweight steel retainers (because titanium isn't magnetic)
- OEM valve covers and full set of camshaft "caps"
At any serious request, I will provide:
- Any additional pictures
- Any measurements that can be taken with a caliper and without disassembling the installed parts
