i have yet to own a honda. i think i might one day, perhaps as a strictly track car that looks stock but lives at sebring and such.

hondas are good cars to work on and their reputation for being cheap, easy, and potentially quick is what lures people to them. cheap on insurance too, and they don't look half bad if you don't go all rice/jdm on it.

nissan 240sx's are also good gateway cars, since they are approaching the same price ranges of hondas, and their ability to be reliable and fast are pretty good. they'll never reach popularity status like hondas just because they didn't make as many. (i'm surprised they haven't run out of 240s to buy/salvage parts off of yet)
