wow...i don't visit the forums for a while and a good friend of mine is in a heated debate with the TR guys...

for the record, i know ron personally and he gives everyone respect...etc.

the fact is, VERY few cars FROM A ROLL have beaten his car...and that includes a few 450+ rwhp v8's. now obviously this is just from a roll...however its kinda difficult to run from a stop when its not at the track. with traction, his setup with his whp usually goes low l2's. obviously a lot depends on the driver, conditions, etc...etc...etc... but its pretty simple math...as it takes a certain amount of horsepower to pull a 2400lb vehicle down a track.

i'm interested to see what kinda times his car is able to pull...and wish i could be at TR track day...unfortunately i'm in ct until mid october.
