a check engine light is diff than a maint reqd light...the main reqd light means nothing really...it just pops on when a certain amount of drivin hours passed or mileage or such....

on my acura, not sure on accord, there was a black box with a reset blue button underneath the steering wheel by the pedal...do a google search for accord/year...youll find out how to reset it...no biggy!
