Dale Jr. Gets a New Crew Chief At Dover
19th in points and a 40th place finish at Lowes Motor Speedway; Rick Henderick felt it was time for a change.
The new changes to the Dover Delaware track that NASCAR was hoping to be the big news for the week, has been over shadowed by replacing Dale Earnhardt Jar’s crew chief and cousin Tony Eury Jr.
Cousin or not stock car racing is big business, and Rick Henderick felt it was time to change up the crew chief and other key members of the team in an effort to get Jr. running fast again.
Starting at this week’s Autism Speaks 400 in Dover Delaware, Jr.s crew chief for this week will be Brian Whitesell; Lance Mc Grew will then take over on an interim basis while Rick Henderick figures out a long term solution.
