Honestly, for .4 worth, its nice, but not THAT big of a difference. You going to really do that much low light shooting?
the big difference isnt the .4, its the fact that the 1.8 is a 5 bladed diaphragm and the 1.4 is a rounded 7 blades. The difference is the bokeh is so much smoother and more natural on the 1.4.
