Default Wet sand and buff help

Ok, I finished a V-cover i was working on and it got some dirt in it so I wet sanded it with 1000 because I was going to clear it again, but this time the DAMN LOVE BUGS got me! So I wet sanded it again with 1500 then 2000 this time. I am now ready to buff.

Now never doing this before and this i'm sure will be the only time I am doing this I don't have all the stuff to polish it with.

I found some 3M Scratch remover at my local auto parts store. I have a wole pad in blue and white and I have a blue fome pad. The buffer is a Dewalt and goes up to 1600 RPM. Is there any wax I can get or should use that I can by at a local auto parts sore? If so what order should I use them? I do have some white liquid wax that I got from a deatailer a while back and there is no grit in it but I realy can remeber what it's for.
I don't have a lot of money to spend so I need to try an make due with what I have.
