Obviously you didnt look at the Diablos 1/4 mi. trap speeds... 12.2@122. Youre right the older Diablos had 50 less HP...so yank that number down to 115 or so. Think your CRX can pull higher trap speeds than that? On the run he should be able to pull away easily. No offense...even as a bad driver there isnt that much shifting when you get into higher gears and drive a car that pulls to redline at 7500RPMs or whatever that Lambo V12 spins to.

OK...heres the fun part. You said you could easily hear this guy when he was BEHIND you when you were racing him. YET he was able to hear YOU blip your throttle when YOU were BEHIND him? So whos louder? Why is it that both of you with rear exit exhausts can hear each other when you are behind one another?
Im sorry...I can barely hear anything when its behind me revving up. If I can...then you sure as hell wont be able to hear my car if you are passing me...if youre loud enough for me to hear you behind my car then you are getting a noise violation for idling in traffic.

#6 i dont think that my car runs sub 4 to 60 nor do i think his lambo could run sub 4 to 60. but does that really matter. my last crx ran 13.5 and i beat a viper in first and second(it doesnt take a rocket scientist to do that)and what does a viper gts run??????
OK...if you beat an AWD out of the hole then he wasnt going all out. Now that I can accept...but youre racing a car with some serious top end yet you say you pulled on him through fourth? BTW the AWD Diablo is slower to 60 than the RWD. Go figure.
I can accept you beating a Viper in 1st and 2nd...they have shitloads of torque and no real way to hook up on the street yet they still run 0-60 in 4 flat with a good driver. Play with them a while longer and youd get hurt. You sure it was a GTS? They run (with a professional driver on a track) around 12.3@115 or so (notice the difference between the Lambo and the Viper with similar ETs?)...not too shabby. The Lambo had a 7 MPH higher trap...its a little hard to run away from that in the top end.
BTW your quoted times...they on slicks? I could believe a mid to low 13 FWD on radials...but not a 12 sec FWD on radials. Maybe...I just think you would need a lot of suspension work to run 12s on radials and these supercars (what else to call them) are running LOW 12s (atleast with good drivers) on radials...

What are your trap speeds? I know you havent taken your current car to the track but what about in your last one (that ran 13.5)? Im guessing that was probably around 105-108?

#2 - FWD on radials yet you hooked well enough to hang with not just a RWD but an AWD!
#3 - This car has like a 10 MPH higher trap speed yet you kept pulling on him!
#4 - You had a passenger (might help out of the hole a very little yet you didnt lose anything up top?)!
I ran and was beaten by a motorswap car...he passed me (past tense havent run lately but waiting
) around the 1000 ft. mark. Im sorry but you cant hook a motorswap FWD on radials worth a shit...it just doesnt happen.

and to ES i dont like to talk about my car to muchthat is why i didnt say what i had done to my car until the end.i dont know i guess im just like that.
and one more thing mr vortec why does it mean so much to you. .i dont even know you and you must have spent hours(that is hours useing my typing speed as a referance point)to try and poke holes in my story. do you always treat people this way? i dont think that it is that hard to believe.

BTW on the run I give every car the move. I drop a gear and just cruise next to them until they drop and gun it. No arguments that way. I also give them a nod when we finish racing...win or lose. And I generally dont launch at lights since Im never sure if they guy next to me wants to play. I almost always give the move from lights unless the person next to me revs it up a couple times...then I giving them a good AWD launch.
And if I EVER beat a Diablo when I was running pump gas (atleast with my current combo)...I would chalk it up to the fact he didnt want to play.
