still soo much work and 50+ extra pounds on the front wheels. he better put 100lbs of ballast weight in the trunk. for 1000 bucks he could get more HP and torque out of a small block GM or ford. the swap would be less work too. dohc v motors are huge. bmw v8,v10,v12 swaps are silly to me. its a tight fit with just a 24v 6 in an e30 haha. i live in brandon so i am now on permanent lookout for this e30 (not that im not already on lookout for e30s).
side note kinda- idunno who knows what about v8s here but look at this haha hopefully pic works:
