Thats not the same as the point I was making. Thats not comparing a 5.0 to a 4.6 Thats not even apples n oranges,.. thats like watermelon to a strawberry LoL.
A stroked 351 > then NA mod motor anyday. I agree. Hell yeah,.. I decided on doing a turbo 392 myself. Should be pretty sweet when finally done.
But 302 - 306 with E7 heads compare to 2v,..

302 - 306 with AFR or TFS heads compared to 4v,..
Then mod motor > then pushrod.
Stock block to stock block,.. the 4.6 block obviously has the advantage.
But once you get into aftermarket windsor blocks and forced induction,.. both motors are on pretty even ground. There's an ass load of 1600hp 305ci mod motors out there for proof of concept. Even destroked 5.4 motors out there making an ass load of HP.
Terry over on N2S has a turbo 4.6 making 730+ HP and to drive it,.. its as docile as anything you've ever putted around in. But lay in the boost and its all you can do to just pedal it to keep the rear end from breaking loose.
So in all reality,.. there is power to be made on both sides of the fence. Cant underestimate small cubes of the 4.6,. especially in a force induction configuation.
