This is the follow up that I mentioned on an S14 with Z31/Altima rotors done last month noting that they fit with out the use of washers.

And I dont remember it making a weird noise. It might have, I just have alot going on so I forget if it made funny noises. But the motor is still overly tight. I can get it to run but I have to rotate it by hand past TDC to get it to start. My starter started to smoke because of the strain.
