Sadly if you care not to believe that racist extremist don't go after ex military people or enlist themselves for the simple fact that they receive weapons and military tactics training you've got the wool over your eyes tight. Since the early 90's the United States Army has acknowledged that problem. So much so they do tattoo checks to search for skinheads and gang members. Is it an overwhelming threat that needed this much attention, not really. But it's nothing new.

This issue is a lot bigger than this, by the way. This is a SERIOUS problem and is being addressed. There is a thread on TF about the lawsuit against several members of the Dept of Homeland Security right now.
WRITE YOUR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS! Write the president. Spam the dept of homeland security, write your governer, write your reps. LET THEM KNOW HOW MUCH THIS BOTHERS YOU. They don't read TF, but they will read hundreds/thousands/tens of thousands of emails or letters all dispatched about the same thing. And they will take note.
