Actually the late 89 - 91 are the only years to get forged pistons from what I remember. Also some of the 89-91 blocks had higher nickel counts on the block similar to the now famous Sportman block.
im still gonna have to go with 87-92 on that one, I dont know for sure though cause im not trying to get into shit with people over this.
Whoever know what years had forged pistons, let us know.
I swear its 87-92 and I know for sure 93 was the only year they saved a few million on piston choice lol.
