As much as this could start flooding the DSLR market with more buyers, I still don't think the P&S market will go away. P&S's still have that compact advantage that the DSLR will never have due to the lenses.

I am even in the market right now for a P&S so I can have a small camera with me when I don't want to lug around the DSLR.
