Glad you're ok. However, I am on a street bike. Compltely different design than a sport bike where you lay on top of the tank. I think that if I were to hit a car, My legs would probably catch my body and prevent me from being thrown from the bike.
But I'm not sure. I don't plan on testing my theory out any time soon either. LOL
But yes, I realize that a full face helmet protects you better than a half helmet.
I knew I was going to hit the car, so I stood up a little just before impact and my legs or some part of my body still tore the wind screen and the front fairing right off!!! it kinda hurt, but I jumped up right away. didn't know where I was laying in the road. I was afraid I was going to get ran over!!! but the car (full size van) I missed in the first place, stopped and blocked traffic so no one would hit me.
