buddy i went to high school with bought this car with 25K on it after his silver moss was T-boned, back in 2001. It went through an SR upgrade, and then the motor ate one of the screws from the throttle body plate, and it got upgrayedd-ed some more. it makes modest power but the car is still the cleanest 240sx i've ever been in or seen. it could easily make more power too.

price seems steep, but for someone wanting something to keep for years and ride out to 'collectors' meets in 20 years, this would be the car to do it in

engine pics, when the motor was first purchased, every bracket, heat shield, and bolt was powdercoated, or a polished/upgraded replacement was bought.

motor build and everything was done by jay whitely here in tampa. anyone OG enough to remember him, knows he takes his sweet time and does everything to a T. meticulous is just brushing the surface.

i haven't spoken to my friend in a few years since we lost touch, but i'd always try to get him to come out and he wouldn't drive it if it even LOOKED like it was going to rain.

do note some of the things on the car are a bit 'outdated' but remember even back in 2003 or so, some of the neat sr20 things you can buy now, weren't out and there was some custom things done.

some of the stuff i remember were:
-welded on bung for fuel pressure gauge on the rail
-welded on bung for oil pressure gauge (more reliable than shitty brass fittings)
-using a sentra se-r FPR because the outlet neck curved correctly to use with the greddy intake
-the Q45 plastic harness rail that was custom mounted to the front of the valve cover to route vacuum lines
-polished a/c compressor LOL


i don't get excited over 240s much anymore since most are just 'out there', but this car wouldn't need anything changed on it, sans maybe a better turbo manifold and a new tune for more power.
