Not quite true. He did blow the motor up on it and rebuild the motor with stock parts. Unfortantly the person assembling it for him had no idea what a torque wrench was and the motor was toast not even a 1000 miles later.
He still has the car right now it is not sold. He e-mailed me just last week wanting some more old stock parts off my car to get his in some sort of condition to trade in.
As for what car he purchases in the future I have no idea but facing the misfortune he had with DSMs I seriously doubt it will be another.
