People buy Acuras with Honda motors, Lexuses with Toyota motors, and Audis with VW motors, no one seems to care about that.
Besides, the Duratec is as good an engine as any other out there. Plus that this is the same powerplant that was in Ford's highly successful European Touring cars. And A Twin-turbocharged version of this engine is used in the Noble M400, a British supercar. The engine is rebuilt and tuned to a max power of 425 bhp at 6500 rpm, with a torque figure of 390 lb·ft at 5000 rpm.
If if I had an X-type I'd be proud to show off it's engine.
