I wear a similar cool black leather jacket, I'm sure. Its good for preventing road rash - I bet I could slide for forever and a day before it wears through. Really hope I don't fucking hit any curbs, vehicles, or other objects with a density greater than that of my bones, though.
But yeah, some nice approved padding would go a long way. The armor like serious riders wear would be to another level. I have been looking for a more neutral looking leather jacket with the padding, but so far all I've seen have been the hardcore sportbike looking shit.
But my expectations are unrealistic. I'd like to have a stylish leather jacket that breathes okay, is bulletproof, has good padding in it, and is decent to wear out when on the bike.
