So thanks everyone for the assurance that the subs will add in the low end that the speakers cant get. To tell you the truth after listening to the stereo in my car, stereos that once sounded pretty good in other cars are now flat and dull sounding. I will say Polk makes an excellent speaker you can crank them and its still crystal clear. The subs fill in so much I love it. Dont know till you try though. If I ever get a new car I will most likely be taking my speakers with me haha. I would love to know the max I can turn up the volume before risking damage on the speakers. They are only powered by the head unit amp which is either 22 or 17 watts rms which who knows if thats the real wattage it puts out. Does that mean I could crank them and they wont blow or receive damage? Not like I need to play it that loud but just out of curiousity.
