I figured as much. I know that an open face is not as safe as a full face....but here in Florida, it's much easier with the heat indexes. I wear what I wear for comfort and functionality. I wear leather...Not this plastic stuff you see on the new age biker crowd. I used to wear a full face helmet...When I was a new and inexperienced rider. I've been down a few times...Never gotten hurt bad yet. (knock on wood) Mainly when I was moto-crossing though.

A full face helmet buffets around fiercly compared to an open face....BUT, your hearing will be WAY better off with the full face.
